Eliacostas - Doyle Worbington and all of his guides gave me and my
14 year old son a hunt of a lifetime. From the time of booking the hunt until the
time we landed in colorado Doyle was very helpful. This was our first guided hunt.
We hunted the Cripple Creek ranch second season in Oct. 2003. Hunting conditions
were difficult very hot and dry for this time of the year, however with the hard
work of the guides and expertise all 4 hunters in our camp bagged out. The real
and main fact of my testimonial is that this was a dream come true for me and my
son. My son killed a 6 x 7 bull and myself a 6 x 5. Does it get any better? None
of this could have been possible if it wasn't for Doyle and his crew. They encourage
the family hunting. They gave my son not only an experience and education, but a
lifelong dream that he will have together with his father. "Priceless"
thanks again see you in '05 season.

- I will be very candid, and admit up front that I worked as both a guide and soil
conservation advisor for Doyle during the initial three years of his operation.
I have known Doyle for the past six years, and we have been planning a hunt for
my son as soon as he became of legal age. My son finally drew Mule deer buck and
Cow elk. I am a Active Duty First Sergeant in the United States Army and was deployed
to Iraq in the Spring of 2003. Doyle went out of his way to ensure that my son Zachary
was able to still go on his hunt. The year that I was gone was a very difficult
time for Zach, and this hunt gave him some much needed peace of mind. Doyle went
out of his way to photograph Zachs hunt and sent them to me in Iraq . This is not
only a quality operation, it is ran by top notch, family oriented people. Zach was
quickly made to feel like one of the guys as evidenced by the huge smile on his
face with his buck Mule deer and Cow elk. I will forever be in Doyle's debt for
taking the time to make this hunt a lasting lifetime memory for my son. Thanks Doyle
Joe &
Cassandra Daller - Late snows required changes in our hunting plans.
Doyle handled every detail well in advance, and with great care and consideration.
He is very professional in the services he provides, yet very personable in his
daily client care. He has many resources available, and uses them wisely. With so
much acreage under his control, we hunted numerous locations, never over hunting
or over pressuring any one area. My wife harvested her gobbler on the last afternoon
of her hunt, well deserved by all considering the effort required. Thanks to Doyle's
efforts on our behalf, we have a trophy, memories and a friend to last our lifetime.

Gary Bourgeois - This was my fourth great hunt with Doyle and every
year I say it can't get any better but every year it does. Even with 35 mph winds
for 3 days straight. 5 hunters took 5 elk & 5 deer and every one was trophy
quality. We took 3 5 x 6's, 1 5 x 5, and a 6 x 7 elk and the deer were all nice
4 x 4's and 5 x 5's it was just fantastic. My buddy Steve took a nice 5 x 6 the
last hour of the hunt. The guides won't quit until everyone's tagged out. I would
like to take this time to again thank everyone at J & D Outfitters including
(Pinky) for another dream season come true. Thanks Gary Bourgeois
Dennis Ford - I have been on various guided hunts for Moose, Caribou
and Black Bear. Each hunt was a challenge but successful. I must say Doyle Worbington
and his crew were the best. I have run a Fishing Charter for 17 years and know what
to look for in customer satisfaction. Doyle Worbington and J&D outfitters met
all of my expatiations. I had a enjoyable time with J&D and have no problem
saying they are trustworthy.
Bill
Geib - My son and I hunted the 4th season in Unit 64 with J&D Outfitters.
There were 4 hunters in camp at their Montrose location. We all had shooting opportunities
at bull elk. There was a 50% success rate with my son's 6x6 and my 6x5. The entire
organization goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The guides, Doyle
and Bryant, know the land like the back of their hands and are constantly working
to get bull elk in front of you. The food was hearty, home cooked and plentiful.
Accommodations were a real nice central lodge and detached 2 person cabins with
their own hot water and shower. Transfers to and from the airport right on schedule.
There were no surprises, you got what you contracted for and then some. In addition
to elk, the land has significant mule deer. None of us had drawn a tag, but we saw
several bucks approaching 28-30 inch spreads. I have been on 14 other guided hunts
and this experience ranks right up there in the top category. I plan to go again
in 2004 hopefully for a combination elk and mule deer hunt.

- Doyle is straight and honest when it comes to the hunt and quality of the animals
you will be hunting. This was an archery hunt with my 12yr old son along for the
experience. I had expressed to Doyle that I would like to try and harvest a 15"+
antelope, his response was "there are several that size and better". That
was an understatement, as we saw antelope up to 17"+. We hunted both water
holes and by decoy, though the weather for the week was not always in our favor.
Doyle used his knowledge of the animals, giving 100% in trying to offer the best
opportunity for a shot. On the last day we spotted a buck and were able to get into
position to pop up the decoy, I got the shot and harvested my animal. He was not
one of the big boys, but a trophy just the same. Doyle did a great job to make the
hunt enjoyable for both my son and I, so much that I plan on returning for another
bow hunt.

Joe Culton - I had given up on the idea of ever going with an outfitter
again -- (no success, mediocre accommodations and food, etc.) I felt I could do better
on my own. I met Doyle at a RMEF convention and was so impressed with his knowledge,
background, and good manners, that I decided to try one more time. The trip exceeded
all expectations. The knowledge and competence of his guides, the clean, comfortable
accommodations, the wonderful food and good humor of the cook, the abundance of
game, (including the great trophy I brought home) and the great camaraderie of the
group. Above all, the character and ethics of the owner, Doyle Worbington, made
it a trip and hunt to remember.
Dave Marcy - I have been on 4 hunts and this was the best by far! Abundant
game allowed you to hunt all week for Elk and Mule deer if you so desired. We scored
100% which seems to be the norm there! Book early as Doyle fills up fast. We are
going back in 2004! The food and guides are fantastic and will do what it takes
to make your hunt! The scenery is awesome and is worth the trip alone.
